We are happy to share an exciting opportunity with the PLANTCOM community: registration is now open for the 3rd IJPB International Symposium, organized by the Institute Jean-Pierre Bourgin for Plant Sciences.
📅 Dates: 23–25 September 2026📍 Location: Versailles, France
This year’s symposium will explore chemical interactions between plants and their environment — from the molecule to the field, bringing together researchers working across scales and disciplines.
🔬 Scientific highlights
The programme will feature leading international speakers and is structured around four key themes:
Chemical signals in plant responses to the environment
Perception and transduction of chemical signals
Integration of chemical interactions in ecological communities and agroecosystems
Agroecological innovations from plant–environment interaction research
🌱 New opportunity for early-career researchers
A special initiative in this edition: four postdoctoral researchers will be selected to give invited talks (one per session) and engage with IJPB scientists. Selected candidates will receive:
Registration fee waiver (including gala dinner)
Hotel accommodation (up to 3 nights covered)
📝 Practical information
