Two key international conferences in 2026 (apart from the 2026 PLANTCOM meeting ;))

In 2026, two international conferences of particular relevance to the network will be held in the Paris area.

• "Mixing crops, varieties, disciplines and know-hows for agroecology". This conference is co-organized by three research projects MoBiDiv, InterCropValues, and IPMorama. It will address all scientific challenges associated with within-field crop diversification from an interdisciplinary perspective, inlcuding agronomy, eco-physiology, genetics, phytopathology, soil sciences, social sciences, etc.

• "IJPB Symposium 2026 - Chemical interactions between plants and their environment: from the molecule to the field". This conference organized by Institut Jean-Pierre Bourgin will address chemical, molecular, and cellular aspects of plant-environment interactions (including plant-plant interactions), as well as the implications of these mechanisms for agroecology.
